| Neighbors Rick Beno (left)and Jim Algots (center) supervise the exact placement of the dome on the wall casters. Notice that the wall was fiberglassed with vertical strips allowing the glass to come down over the edge of the concrete pad. This helps seal out moisture and rodents. Both observatories have been rodent free since they can't get their claws into the fiberglass wall to climb and enter the necessary gap between the wall and rotating dome. |
