Saturn

Back

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

"Saturn is the sixth planet from the Sun and the second-largest in the Solar System, after Jupiter. It is a gas giant with an average radius about nine times that of Earth. Saturn is named after the Roman god of agriculture; its astronomical symbol represents the god's sickle"

This  image was taken February, 2006 at the Winter Star Party, West Summerland Key, Florida.  Multiple frames were taken with a Philips ToUCam through a 20" Obsession telescope with ServoCat tracking.  The best frames were then processed and stacked using RegiStax app.  No exposure details are remembered.
